We are thrilled to announce the upcoming availability of BrokerPro 5.0. The focus of this release is to streamline and automate many of the tedious tasks that you and your team deal with daily.

User Interface Improvements

Our user interface is renowned for its simplicity, and we are relentlessly focused on creating an efficient environment that allows our users to get things done quickly. We pride ourselves on ensuring that BrokerPro is fast, secure, and reliable.

  • “Fast” means how quickly and easily users can retrieve information or perform actions in the application.
  • “Secure” means that our users remain in control of their data.
  • “Reliable” means that users know what to expect.

“Fast” has been a major focus of this update. We modernized the overall design of the application. Fonts, buttons, select boxes, and color schemes have been refined. The interface gets “out of the way” and allows our users to efficiently get their jobs done. Micro-distractions like a jarring color scheme or a button that doesn’t “look quite right” have been removed so our users can be more productive over a long workday.

We also rethought how our users interacted with key areas of the application. This resulted in us making significant changes to the Load List. Users now have the ability to perform actions on loads in bulk which will save customers thousands of hours of time. If you need to send check calls or rate cons (or anything really) to hundreds of loads, you can now do it with just a few clicks as opposed to clicking through each load. This is a huge improvement, and we think our customers are going to love it.

We have also added overlay buttons over each load in the Load List that allow users to perform quick actions. Need to start tracking a load with Macropoint, TextLocate, or TruckerTools? It’s right there. What if you want to quickly post or un-post a load to load boards? Just hover and click. Performing check calls or uploading documents to the load? You guessed it.

These user interface improvements are going to drive serious efficiency inside of BrokerPro, and we think our customers are really going to love them.

Your TMS Your Way

Our customers manage a vast amount of data. Knowing that every freight broker wants to see their data differently, we created the ability for users to create their own tags in the TMS. These tags can represent nearly anything in the system. Say you have a new customer and want to ensure they stand out from all of the others in your list. Create a “New Customer” tag, apply it to the customer, and the tag will appear. Maybe there is a carrier who you think is shady but haven’t yet decided to not do business with them. Create a “Shady Carrier” tag and apply it to them so your team knows this is someone you don’t really trust. Perhaps you have a high priority or urgent load that needs attention. Tag the load with “Urgent” or “High Priority.”

The possibilities are endless, and we are really looking forward to seeing the creative ways our customers use this new feature.

Product Tours and Lunch-and-Learn Webinars

BrokerPro is very easy to use. However, new users need to learn how to use the system, and even the most seasoned users need reminders from time-to-time. To help with that, we are proud to announce the inclusion of Product Tours in the application. Tours show users how to perform common actions within the application. Things like “How to Create a Load”, “Creating a Customer”, and “Creating a Carrier” are covered.

Additionally, we are happy to announce that we are launching BrokerPro Lunch-and-Learn webinars that will occur on the first and second Wednesdays of each month. These webinars will cover key aspects of the product, showcase integrations, and address common issues encountered by our customers. At the end of each webinar, we will solicit feedback from our customers to identify future topics of interest. The first webinar in the series will occur on September 18 at 12:00 Central. Integrations!

In case you missed it, we announced our integration with Highway in July. Demand for this integration has been incredibly strong. With Highway and BrokerPro working together, customers can automatically onboard carriers, get carrier alerts in BrokerPro the moment they happen, and be automatically notified at the time of carrier assignment to a load if there’s anything shady happening with the carrier. You can see this integration in action by watching the webinar here or by scheduling a demo.

Additionally, we are very close to launching our TriumphPay Factoring Integration! With this integration, customers will be able to automatically submit payables and receivables to TriumphPay. Additionally, they will be able to view the status of any load on a BrokerPro report specifically designed for TriumphPay Factoring. We will make a proper announcement about this once the integration is complete, but if you would like to be one of the first customers to use it, please let us know.

Tags for Customers, Carriers, and Loads

  • Tags are fully customizable to facilitate fast tracking of what’s important to your business.
  • Can represent lots of things (e.g. “Hot Load”, or “New Customer”, or possibly “Shady Carrier”).

LTL Improvements

  • Simplified the process of building and booking an LTL Load from start to finish.
  • Removed redundant fields and options.
  • Added an option to automatically send the BOL to the Dispatcher and/or the Shipper when booking an LTL Load.
  • Coming Soon!
    • New separate options for “Book” and “Dispatch”
    • Ability to Cancel Booked Shipments before they are Dispatched.

Product Tours (Walkthroughs)

  • We have implemented Tours for many common actions (setting up an account, creating a load, creating a customer, creating a carrier, etc.)
  • These tours can be used for Training as well as other purposes.
  • You can access them by clicking on Help > Tours.

Highway Integration

  • Automatically Onboard Carriers instantly as soon as they complete the onboarding process!
  • Get carrier alerts in BrokerPro the moment they happen. No need to check or wait for the next sync.

TriumphPay Factoring Integration

  • Automatically submit your payables and receivables to TriumphPay as soon as they meet the requirements!
  • View the status of any Load on a report specifically designed for TriumphPay Factoring.

Performance Improvements

  • Migration to a new backend framework that will allow us to develop new features more quickly.
  • This new framework is currently in use primarily with Rate Quotes.
  • Current functionality remains the same – it’s just faster.
