BrokerPro Releases Version 4.5 Oct 27, 2023 New version includes User Roles, Status Categories, Permission Controls, and More! We are pleased to announce an update that includes many new features! Please read below for a more detailed explanation of the changes. BrokerPro Version 4.5.0 Custom User Roles Added a new feature that allows administrators to create User Roles with any combination of permissions, and then assign those roles to users. If a group of users needs a permission change, simply update the role to change everyone’s permissions at once! (Account Settings > Statuses, Roles & Permissions) Status Categories -In addition to being able to add customer load statuses and assign permission requirements to them, you can now categorize custom statuses into 5 categories (Open, Active, Accounting, Cancelled, and Other). These status categories power the Load List and most reports. This means your custom statuses can now be included on any tab in the Load List you want. More Permissions We have added the following new permissions, which will collectively the place of the ‘Print Company Reports’ permission. The new permissions align with the categories under the Accounting menu dropdown at the top. They are: Loads Accounting Customer Accounting Carrier Accounting Agent/Sales Accounting Accounting Integrations The functionality of these permissions will be improved over the coming weeks/months as we gain feedback from users, so we encourage you to share your opinion on these new permissions. Bid Request Email Algorithm We have added a new option when sending Bid Requests to carriers. This new option uses 10 different matching parameters to help you easily request quotes from carriers who are likely to offer you the best rates. This is a complex feature, and is currently in a Beta Test phase, but we encourage you to try it out and share your feedback with us. The algorithm currently considers the following when searching for carriers: How often you do use this carrier? Are they one of your top 25 carriers? Do they have the type of equipment selected on the load? Have they been added as a ‘Preferred Carrier’ for the customer on the load? Do they service the lane (State to State) on the load? Do they have any loads, in your system, delivering on the same day in the same state as the load? Are they ‘Trackable’, as marked in the carrier profile? Are they a ‘Preferred Carrier’, as marked in the carrier profile? Is their insurance up to date? What is their internal carrier rating? (1-10) New Advanced Load Search Fields You can now search for loads using the following criteria: Customer Charges Customer Accessorials Customer Discounts Carrier Charges Carrier Accessorials Carrier Discounts Internal Rate History When editing any load, we now search for and display the average rate for similar loads over the past 13 months. This new feature also includes a way to easily run an Advanced Load Search to look for similar loads to the one you are on. Public Load Board API Improvements While we have much more in store for API-related capabilities coming soon, we have added an option to ‘Cache’ the results of API requests for a specified period of time. You can use this option to not only reduce the number of API requests you make (cached results do not increase your API usage), but also speed up the results for users visiting your website. You can find this option in Account Settings > API Settings. QuickBooks Online (Dual Currency Only) There is now an option to automatically sync exchange rates with QuickBooks Online once per hour. You can find this option by going to Manage Integrations > QuickBooks Online. Performance Improvements, User Experience Improvements and more! We have also significantly improved speed and performance of BrokerPro, helping you get more done in less time. There are many other small, but significant changes, we’ve made recently.
